So, it's been quite a while since I've been particularly active on here, so I'll start by saying that my wedding is now officially over and I can now proceed to getting back to the projects I've had on hold for the past... let's say year and a half. I do have several projects from the actual wedding to share with all of you (it was, after all, a steampunk themed wedding), and I will post those up as I am able to put together proper presentations with photos from our actual wedding. So look forward to that!
Second, I'd like to thank all of the new watchers that I've obtained during my absence; I may not have been active, but I appreciate the support! Many of you, no doubt, are hoping to see a successful conclusion to my 3dmg project. I've a few other cosplay items I'd like to complete prior to getting back to the grind on it, but it will get there. Too much work has gone into them to just leave them in their unfinished state.
Lastly, I'm going to attempt to get back into drawing again. I don't do it nearly as much as I used to, and several people have suggested that I try and get back into it, so I've finished up an art trade in an effort to push myself back into it. No guarantees I'll actually stick with it, but we'll see!

As things are starting to die down, I feel I should write a thank you for the overwhelming amount of support my little three-dimensional maneuver gear project (and my other work, as well) has gotten thus far. I never expected to gain forty new followers and almost twelve-hundred pageviews over the span of a couple days, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. So, from my end, I want to thank all of you who have supported my current endeavors, both new followers, and those who have been with me since I posted up my first cosplay pictures; you guys have been a great source of encouragement, and it makes me want to strive to do the best I can.
That being said, I'm slowly but surely trying to thank everyone for their support individually (DeviantArt has already blocked my comments as spam once as I attempt to give out individual thank-yous; this is another first for me). I think I've gotten everyone who has added me so far, but if I haven't, it's coming.
Lastly, it should be noted that I am new to both cosplay and prop-making, but I am more than willing to answer questions or provide assistance if I am able to do so.

I proposed to :iconhiddenjester: today and she said yes! I'm a very happy man.

As my cosplay plans have, undoubtedly, turned out to be a little more ambitious than I had initially realised (well, no, I realised it plenty, I just didn't want to admit there was no way I was going to get that much done between my job and my work ethic >.<), I feel I should update myself, as I've not quite accomplished all I'd meant to by now. So!
- ACen (May 16th-18th): Finish the three sets of 3D Maneuver Gear for our groups AoT cosplays. Will it actually get done? I'm not sure at this point, I'm definitely working on it every day, but as with most things I let myself get carried away with details instead of doing the time-efficient thing and going back and re-doing things how I really want them later. If you're there and it's done, you may only see two sets, as I may just be passed out in the room the whole weekend. I'll also probably bring my JtHM cosplay, and possibly Hanagata.
- Collossalcon: Definitely AoT... possibly others, though I'm hazy on the details, but definitely Aot because I'm putting too much into this 3dmg to not show it off every chance I get xP
-Youmacon 2014: Gangs of Gotham returns, and hopefully with new members! I'm going to attempt to get some details and new props done for Harley, but we'll see; I've also got two of my first ever commissions to finish up for around this time (I'm taking on two for now to see if it's actually something I can feasibly do; possibly more later, but that all depends on how well I do with these).
All in all, some more realistic goals than "three new costumes for every convention! Props all around!" Maybe next year I'll get to work right after Youma, and not wait four months before I realise I haven't done anything >.<

Plenty!
Over the next several months, I have quite a workload. How much, you ask? Let's look at the list:

Armageddicon (March 28-30): Hanagata Mitsurugi from Saber Marionette J, plus accessories for Lime and Cherry, three sets of 3DM to my usual standard for Eren, Mikasa and Rivaille/Armin (gosh m' lookin' forward to that ;;>.>), finish all the things I keep meaning to work on for Johnny and Devi.

Anime Central (May 16th-18th): Ban from Getbackers (shouldn't be TOO hard, right?), Gaige the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2 (going to be whatever time I have leftover/during making the 3DM. Will also be to my usual standard once I pick a head/skin. And, yes, it will be the original female version) Also assist Ash in making her armour for Arielle and additional accessories for Oswin Oswald.

CollossalCon (?)

YoumaCon 2014: Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket (redux of my first cosplay EVER), weapons/props/accessories for additional Gangs of Gotham costumes (also possible design support, though I'm lettin' Ash have these two for now).

SO! Plenty to keep me occupied, and hopefully I'll be able to stay sane through it all (though I think a little identity crisis in the middle may be understandable >.>)
